This page tells about the contribution and legacy of British emigrants to Peru
during the nineteenth century. The source of these accounts are family books
and stories and a book entitled "The English in South
America", written in 1877 by Michael G. Mulhall, an Englishman resident in
Argentina.
The following is a list of British immigrants who contributed to the emancipation, industry, commerce, arts and
science of Peru in the nineteenth century. If, inadvertently, I omitted a name you
feel should be in this list, please contact me.
